| Determination of treatment based on the differentiation of symptoms and signs on aseptic necrosis of the femoral head (Abstract) |

| ABSTRACT Aseptic necrosis of the femoral head corresponds to "arthralgia syndrome of the innominate bone" in traditional Chinese medicine. The pathogenic factors may be due to trauma, overstrain and invasion by external evil(including longterm usage of steriods) . Through clinical observation the patients suffered progressive pain and limitation of movements on their affected joints before any positive finding upon the x-ray films. The principles of treatment are invigoratng the Liver and Kidney, relieving of arthralgia and blood stasis, decoction of iRadix Angelicae Pubescentis and Ramulus Loranthi and its modified form is preferred. |
