中文摘要:
目的:探讨中医正骨推拿手法名称标准化英译的原则和方法。
方法:采用人工、计算机检索等对国内外主要中医正骨推拿著作、杂志和医学词典中涉及中医正骨推拿手法的名称、种类、数量和英文翻译等进行了统计、分析和对比。
结果:共检出手法228种,其中出现频度最高的手法36种。单种手法翻译最多的不足10次,具有英文翻译的手法名称达40种,国外手法30多种。在对中外手法名称、操作和英文译名进行对比分析的基础上,拟定了中医正骨推拿基本手法名称英译原则及方法(讨论稿),对30种基本手法名称进行了标准化英译的尝试。
结论:中医正骨推拿手法分类细,流派多,使手法的名称大量增加,且英译名少而又缺乏规范,有必要尽快开展中医正骨推拿手法名词的分类、命名等的规范化工作。 |

| Study to the standardization of English translation of Chinese manipulation nomenclature |

ABSTRACT
Objective: To study the principles and methods of standard English translation of Chinese manipulation nomenclature.
Methods:The names,denomination,quantities and English translation of Chinese manipulation nomenclature in the representative Chinese orthopaedic books,journals,dictionaries and databanks were detected manually or with the help of computer and the results were analyzed.
Results:Totally 228 techniques were detected,of them,36 techniques were most frequently used and 40 techniques were of English translation.Based on the comparative analysis on the names,performance and English translation of domestic and foreign manipulations in the previous studies,the translation principles and methods of Chinese manipulation nomenclature were suggested and 30 basic techniques were translated accordingly.
Conclusion:The techniques and academic schools of Chinese manipulative therapy have greatly increased recently and their English translation is short of and disordered.Standardize the classification and nomenclature of Chinese manipulative techniques is an essential task to be carried out as soon as possible. |
